I have always liked the views from an airplane even as a passenger, and had a platonic passion for aviation since childhood. And after my 50's birthday I decided it's the highest time to shift from the dreams to some real action, so I enrolled as a student at the FlyForFun flight school and finally obtained the Czech ULL(A) pilot license for light sport aircrafts. Although my license is not valid in the USA, I did some 'discovery flights' there with local instructors

At the Vaclav Havel international airport in Prague (LKPR,PRG) during the covid-19 pandemy - the controller at RUZYNE TOWER offered us clearance for a low pass over RWY12, thanks!
No holding patterns, no altitude and speed restrictions, no other traffic, grounded planes parking on taxiways... Under normal circumstances it's the busiest airport in our country, hopefully the regular operation will resume soon.
